2002 Columbia Valley Syrah

This is rich as chocolate cake and about as decadent, especially when you add the succulent aroma of blackberries. It's a big wine, with a soft, round texture, not overtly tannic, just simple, unadulterated lusciousness Decant and serve with Peking duck.

2004 Du Brul Vineyard Reserve: Wine Advocate

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Thick and dense on the palate, with gobs of flavor, this full bodied effort demands 6-8 years of cellaring and should drink well through 2040.
