outstanding!

2000 Columbia Valley Firehouse Red

"Ron Coleman makes his high-quality red wines in a World War II-era firehouse at the old Walla Walla Airport. But don't let his humble surroundings fool you. This blend is a tremendous blend of Cab, Merlot, Syrah and Cab Franc with inviting espresso and vanilla aromas and ripe bing cherry and dark berry flavors. A smooth, lasting finish."

2004 Syrah: Wine & Spirits, February 2008

Wine & Spirits February 2008

This wine is really all about chocolate, especially when first opened. A ripe black raspberry-jam scent emerges from underneath, with candied plum flavors giving buyancy to that cocoa'd base. With time this wine becomes more ample and fresh, both juicy and mouthfilling. A syrah for barbecued ribs.
