The blend, in this case Cabernet Sauvignon (46%), Syrah (25%), Merlot (15%), Cab Franc (11%), Sangiovese (2%) and Carmenére (1%) drinks like a wine at twice the price, starting with the 16-month barrel program of 50% new French, American and Hungarian oak that produces chocolate and vanilla-flavored tobacco notes joined by dark cherries. A medley of berry flavors awaits with dark chocolate syrup poised to enter the mid palate. Many restaurants offer it as a glass pour, but the food applications are many, so a bottle would find a suitable match.
