
Seattle Met: Top 100 wines of 2011
Seattle Met's annual list of 100 top northwest wines honored two Tamarack Cellars releases. Our 2007 Ciel du Cheval Vineyard Reserve scored 92 points and ranked 44 while the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon scored 91 points and came in at 100.

92 Points The winery best known for its consistently delicious Firehouse Red wine presents a reserve blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and cabernet franc that’s dark in color and rich and intense on the palate with plump, ripe fruit flavors and polished tannins.
100 | 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
91 Points Winemaker Danny Gordon sources cabernet for this wine from a list of the state’s best vineyard sites including Tapteil, Seven Hills, Bacchus, DuBrul, and Ciel du Cheval. The resulting wine is full of chocolate flavors and velvety tannins.
